Thank You All; Our Family Has Grown

First off, I want to thank everyone for their kind words about my stolen dog. All of your comments and personal emails were very thoughtful and some of your emails about how you have been through the same ordeal and got your dog back, brought about new hope. We are continuing to do all we can to look for him but have hopes he will be back soon. However, having a guard dog is a must so we headed off to the nearest shelter with no luck. There were no dogs that my little brother and sister would even consider getting near. So, as a result everyone decided to get a puppy so that they can get comfortable around him as he grows.

Our 3 previous dogs were rescues from shelters and my baby that was recently stolen was uncomfortable around kids. Unfortunately you just don't know a shelter dog's full past which was another reason we decided for the puppy. Its a safety concern for my siblings and I feel good about the decision we made. Puppies are a BIG responsibility but we all look forward to training him and watching him grow. My siblings absolutely love him, and he adores them too.

Our new puppy is a purebred Siberian Husky with the most precious blue eyes and adorable face. We have not decided on a for-sure name but have been calling him "Spock". We named him after Spock from Star Trek because he looks a lot like him, with the pointy ears and all. I hope my baby gets back home to see his new brother. They would go crazy for each other!
