I Completely Gave In! I Bought One.

I completely gave in, I bought one. Yes. I did. I bought an iPod Touch. 

I was looking around on Amazon for a color eBook Reader that would allow me to browse the internet, but I couldn't find any I was interested in. I am still very much infatuated with the Kindle though. Moving on from the eBook Readers I searched for an Android Tablet, but didn't find one that wow-ed me, and I read too much negative feedback on them all. Also, a lot have resistive screens which I dislike very much now.

So, I stumble on the new iPod Touch, 4th Generation, and notice it comes with Skype, Internet browsing, mp3, apps, etc. I love electronics & gadgets and I just couldn't ignore it. It has very good features, many of which I was looking for. I gave in, completely. I bought the new iPod Touch, 4th Generation. If you knew me in person you would know I've disliked Apple (particularly their iPhones) & Macs for a very long time. I guess its slowly diminishing because when that iPad came out, my mouth dropped. The thing is a beauty. I guess for now it won't hurt to try out this iPod Touch and see if I really can hate something I've never owned.

BUT, the moment someone like HTC comes out with a tablet running either Windows or Android, I just might go back to my old ways, lol. For now I can't lie and say I'm not exited to see and try out some iPod accessories, they look fun. I've owned plenty of MP3 players, but never an iPod Touch so when it gets delivered next week I'm going to be having fun skyping friends lol. I know nothing about any apps available for it, i have no idea how iTunes work or anything related to it.

I have heard that there are some free apps available so any suggestions about apps for me to download are welcomed. :)  I can't believe I'm so exited. I am such a geek, lol.

School Is Almost Over :) Zài jiàn Fall Semester!

College finals will be over mid-next week. The Fall Semester will be over, and truthfully, I can appreciate a break since the Holidays are coming up as well :) Its such a great time of year, cold nights, bright lights, trees, presents, holidays and days off. I'm hoping for great grades so I can relax until next year.

I can't wait to take out the tree and decorate around the house. I always look forward to it. I love the holidays! :) I do wish we had one of those cool pre-lit trees, that would save some trouble, that way we could just put up our ornaments and decorate the house.

I hope all my fellow students enjoy these last weeks of school! I'm looking at sleeping in, watching Star Trek and the Twilight Zone late at night and cuddle up :) I also want to try a lot the great recipes I've seen on some of my favorite food blogs.

Review - Pilot FriXion Erasable Pens

I constantly take notes for my classes and find my papers full of black or blue write-outs. Its pretty messy sometimes. I use a tape recorder to tape lectures, but I still find myself writing them out afterwords, as I'm a very visual person. I don't like using pencils so I take notes with pen but find my note papers messy by crossing out things that I would be otherwise be able to erase with a pencil.

Erasable Pens are nothing new but Pilot's FriXion Ball Erasable Pens are quite fun! I received a pack including one of each color; black, red and blue. They are quite thick but fit well in my hand. It also has a rubber grip and they come with fun designs. These fine-tip gel pens are erasable; the rubber tip on the bottom of the pen creates heat by friction which erases the thermo-sensitive ink.

I use these pens for note taking, its advised to not use them for any sort of legal documents. The FriXion pens erase very smoothly, they don't rip my paper when I erase things as some previous brands have done. I like them. I also did some research on these pens and found some fun information. Apparently, since the ink is thermo-sensitive, if you write on a paper and pass a flame from a lighter (or use a hair dryer) on the ink, it disappears. I tried it :) You can make the ink reappear by placing the paper in the freezer. 

As if that's not fun as it is, Pilot also has the FriXion Light, which is their line of erasable highlighters. Now that's something I've never heard of. They come in pink, orange and yellow. How great are those for highlighting text books in school without getting charged or in trouble? Pilot's Erasable  FriXion Pens and Highlighter line is definitely a great and inexpensive stocking stuffer at around $6 for a 3pk.
