NEW Target Coupons On ShopKick App!

More NEW Target coupons available on the ShopKick App today. As long as they keep on posting new coupons, I'll keep posting them for you guys! :) Don't know what ShopKick is? ShopKick is an app available for iPhone and Android devices for FREE. You get points for walking into certain stores and scanning items, you can then redeem the points for gift cards or use them to donate to worthy causes :) I love this app, and another wonderful thing is that they post Target mobile coupons via the ShopKick App. The Target coupons on ShopKick are different from the mobile coupons, insert and website Target coupons.

How to redeem? Simply click "Use This" then you will see the barcode which the cashier should scan. You will have 12 hours to use it after tapping "Use This" or else it expires, so I suggest you click "Use This" only when you're already at the store!
I'm not sure how often they update their Target coupons on ShopKick but its a nice surprise when you find them on there! :) As of this morning, they posted 6 NEW Target Coupons and they all expire 9/2.

Review - Al Fresco's All-Natural Chicken Sausage

Al Fresco Review
I love sausage of all kinds, but really haven't had chicken sausage a lot in the past. Just recently I had the chance to review Al Fresco's All Natural Chicken Sausage, we received Sweet Italian Style, Spinach & Feta and Sweet Apple fully-cooked chicken sausage to try. Al Fresco conveniently has some great recipes to try for their products.

We pan-fried the Sweet Italian Sausage and incorporated it into our simple spaghetti dish. I must say, the aroma of this sausage was delicious! We decided to heat up the last link in the microwave for two of our Siberian Huskies and our house smelled as if someone was baking a fresh pizza! Needless to say, the dogs ate it happily, lol. This was, by far, my favorite of the bunch. The wonderful chunks of red and green peppers are very visible and the sausage itself was great.

The Sweet Apple Sausage was a challenge. Al Freso's recipes were hard to choose from, but we went with the Cornbread Stuffing w/ Sweet Apple Sausage. We would've never came up with something as good as that on our own. The recipe was rather simple to make, we had everything on hand. In addition to it, we added a couple handfuls of raisins, which made it much more to our liking. It was refreshing, which was quite odd for a hot dish. We served this along side some grilled chicken, but was good all by itself. The sausage had a hint of sweetness, which makes me want to buy more and serve it for breakfast with some hash and eggs!

Last was the Spinach & Feta Sausage. I am not a fan of spinach or feta cheese, so this sausage I was not particularly fond of. We used it in a fettuccine dish, which was rather simple to make. I didn't like the taste of it grilled or with the fettuccine. I think it would be better off in a salad of some sort, but not my liking. I made this with a friend, and to my surprise, it was his favorite. Our tastes are quite different.

Al Fresco's many products include chicken meatballs, uncured chicken franks, deli turkey breast and fresh and cooked chicken sausages in wonderful varieties like Wild Blueberry, Chipotle Chorizo, Buffalo Style and many others. They are free of nitrites, nitrates, preservatives and artificial ingredients. A huge thanks to Al Fresco for the opportunity to review some of their great and delicious chicken sausages!

Disclaimer: I was NOT paid for this post, however I did receive the product in question,  from the company or their representing  PR company,  free of charge in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own and I have provided a fair and honest review. I received no other compensation for my review nor was I under any obligation to give a positive review.

Review - Staples Back To School Products

Back to school is here for some, but not all. What is the good news? You can still take advantage of some GREAT deals on supplies, tech, and other back to school necessities. Staples is one of the places where you can score some great deals, especially with their $0.01 deals! I love their products, and thanks to the wonderful people at Staples, we received the following to review: Glitter Personal 5x7 Notebook by Carolina Pad ($2.99), Azuna 3D Dry Erase Board ($7), Mini Comp Books ($1.49 - $1.99), Glam Rock Scissors and Stapler ($2.99 - $4.99) and an Emtec Animal Collection 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive, Panda ($12.99).

I must say, the Carolina Pad personal glitter notepad is very handy. Great for taking quick notes when you don't feel like pulling out your regular-sized notebook. The same with the Mini Comp Books. They are handy enough to carry in your pocket (unless you're wearing skinny jeans that squeeze the living life out of you, lol). My little brother, who will be going to 4th grade, absolutely loves the mini comp books. He uses them to jot down his math problems, instead of using 1/4 of big sheet paper. My little sister, who will be starting 1st grade, loves the look of the Glam Rock Scissors and Stapler. They came in green and are very fun looking. However, they are a bit bulky and I wouldn't recommend them for kids in grade 3 or under. They could, however, use the stapler at home, but its too heavy to carry everyday in their backpacks.

Now, on to the Emtec Animal Collection Flash Drives. Their line has a little piggy, cow, fish, mouse, monkey, turtle and panda, which is the one we received. It is a USB 2.0 flash drive with 4GB capacity. These come in handy, especially if your printer broke and you have to print out a big paper on another computer or somewhere like Kinkos. Believe me, this thing happens a little too often, at the worst times and to too many of us! It retails for $12.99 at staples and is a great deal in my opinion. The flash drive is adorable and comes with a chain, which allows you to stick this cutie on your keys. The head portion holds the memory, the body is removable. Its extremely easy to use, you plug it in, your computer instantly recognizes it at USB mass storage and prompts you to open the folder. You are then free to transfer pictures, documents, pdfs, movies, music and all.

I absolutely adore all the products Staples sent to review. My favorite is, by far, the Panda Emtec Flash Drive, its just too cute. I also received the Azuna 3D Dry Erase Board with an erasable pen. The board is a good size, the idea of a 3D Dy Erase board is great too, but either I got a faulty erase board or I'm going crazy. The pen makes no marks whatsoever on the board. I took the plastic covering off thinking that was the problem, but no luck. And, at a hefty $7, I can't say I would recommend it. Either way, a huge thanks to Staples for the opportunity to review some of their great products, be sure to check out Staples Back-To-School Center.

My 8/14 Target Shopping Round-Up (Saved 71%)

Don't want to make this a LONG post but I did have problems with a GSM manager. She was a great help, rung up the futon when it wasn't scanning but mentioned the $1/1 Tide Qs from the P&G can't be used on travel size Tide packets because the pictures don't match. They were a little confused on the difference between a "purchase" and "transaction". Go figure. Either way, my transactions were split into four, as the machine wouldn't take my 20 Qs for BIC at one time. First time this has happened. I let them know they could remove the last ones and put it in another transaction.

Today was one of those days I had to spoil myself a bit. Since I got a new laptop I had been DYING for a laptop desk and the Room Essentials cushioned Lap Desk was only $8 this week so I HAD to get it... in a beautiful Green. Also bought a Logitech mouse for my trip and one for the "family" computer. The tons of razors were a good find, so we are taking them to our family on our trip! AND Great find on the OFF! Insect repellents on clearance. OFF! Wipes, Deep Woods Spritz Pens, lotions all UNDER $0.80! Mosquitoes are horrible in Nicaragua so we NEED a ton of this! I'm just hoping the full size sprays go on clearance too.

Bought (20) BIC Silky Touch Disposable Razors (10+4ct.) - $2.79
-Used (20) $2/1 Manufacturer Qs

My Nutrisystem Farewell & Last Weigh-In (Week #16) #NSNation

This is my 16th week on the Nutrisystem program and my journey comes to an end.. even though its just begun. Doesn't make sense? I plan on continuing my weight loss, and as It began with Nutrisystem, closing this chapter is just the beginning. I have learned a lot while on the program. I now have a set understanding of how many calories to consume daily, and how many to burn to see results. I won't go crazy trying to lose 5lbs. weekly, but I will continue my steady loss. Summer and the triple-digit weather stalled me a bit for the last 2 months, exercise-wise, but hopefully fall and the cooler weather will help me revamp and start up my daily exerciser routines to burn more calories.

I'm exited to see where my loss will be by the end of the year. I have enjoyed the Nutrisystem program for the past 4 months, and its thanks to them that I now have the tools to help me continue. Nutrisystem is great for beginners, as its very easy to follow, and the results WILL show themselves. I have lost almost 30lbs. in the last 4 months, and that is a great accomplishment. I will surely miss some of my favorite foods from Nutrisystem; Chili w/ Beans, Glazed Chicken w/ Green Beans, Fudge Brownie, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, White Chocolate Chunk Cookie, Cheese Tortellini, Ice Cream Sandwich, Meatball Parmesan Melt, Steak & Cheese Melt, Turkey Peperoni Pizza, Veggie Pizza and all the others. Reading back on my favorites list, it doesn't sound like something someone would eat while trying to lose weight.

I now drink a TON of water, very little soda (majority is 0-calorie or diet) and eat lots of fruit daily. If i were to compare the way I felt before I started Nutrisystem and after, it would be healthier. Cliche, I know, but I feel good, I have more energy, I look forward to long days and so on. I want to give a HUGE thanks to the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger family and Nutrisystem for this great opportunity they provided me with. I take with me helpful tips and new knowledge on my weight-loss journey :) Don't forget to Check out my entire Nutrisystem Journey, my photos on Flickr or my videos on YouTube! Now its time, my weight loss for the 16th and final week on Nutrisystem:
