[Closed] GIVEAWAY - Vapur, The Anti-Bottle

Like I've mentioned before, its never been easier to reduce your carbon footprint. Vapur is another innovative eco-friendly product with a unique idea. Vapur is an anti-bottle, you fill it up and its able to stand and when you're finished, it easily rolls up for easy and convenient storage. Thanks to Vivian over at Vapur I was sent a bottle for review.

I received the Vapur bottle (16oz.) in smoke. Its very cute and stylish :) Vapur bottles are made from Ultra-durable BPA-Free polymer. This bottle is dish-washer friendly, freezable, reusable (unlike regular water bottles), and just plain cute. It comes with a sports cap, but I prefer to unscrew it and drink that way.

As soon as i got it I rinsed it (i always rinse) and filled it up with water and put it in the freezer. With this heat wave here in L.A., I've been using it as an ice pack and drink it as it thaws. Its been keeping me cool :). What i really love about the Vapur bottle is that its so convenient! When your done drinking whatever you have in there, you fold it up and put it away, it literally fits in your pocket.

These bottles are very convenient and are perfect for everyone in your household. They are priced at $8.95 so you can buy one for every member of your family. The great thing is, they come in different colors and are customizable. There is a white strip in the back where you can write the name of who it will belong to. And, with the Carabineer Clip, its easy to not loose them.

Not only do I adore the idea of this BPA-free anti-bottle, i love the company. They are part of the 1% For The Planet program, in which they which we give a portion of all Vapur sales to water-related environmental causes. A company with an eco-friendly product that gives back to the community. Overall I'm impressed with Vapur, its company and product. Thanks to Vapur for the opportunity to review their bottle and have one of my lucky readers WIN one too!

[Closed] GIVEAWAY - EcoUsable Stainless Steel Bottles

Living green is getting much easier! There are so many things available to those of us that want to reduce our carbon footprint in the world. There are so many products and companies out there that will also help make our transition much easier and convenient. EcoUsable is one of those companies.

Thanks to Marc over at EcoUsable, I was sent a package of their products to review. Unfortunately, none of my pictures came out to well, so stock pictures will be used. I received (1) Metallic Green Filtered Stainless Steel Bottle (25oz.), (1) Light Blue Big Dipper Stainless Steel Bottle (25oz.) , (1) Stainless Steel Bottle (33oz.), (1) Wally the Whale Stainless Steel Bottle (10oz.), (2) Sport Caps, (3) Water Wraps, and (1) Filter Replacement. Good news is, I was sent enough and will giveaway one! More on that below.
EcoUsable's Stainless Steel Bottles are BPA-free, eco-friendly and extremely adorable! Instead of contributing to the 60 million water bottles that go into landfills everyday, I want to reduce my carbon footprint by using these amazing stainless steel bottles. What even greater is that EcoUsable has made the worlds 1st BPA-free Stainless Steel Filtered Bottle.

The BPA-free Stainless Steel Filtered Bottle removes 99.99% of pollutants in water per 100 gallons. So you have instantly filtered water on the go! Its a must-have for those who go camping; you can easily fill the bottle with stream or river water and the filtration system will do the rest. The Ionic-Adsorption Micro-Filtration System is an entire water filtration plant within a portable bottle. The patented Ionic-Absorption Micro-Filtration reduces up to 99.99% of the following zones of contamination:
  • Aesthetics: unpleasant taste, odor, clarity, chlorine, sand, sediment and Radon 222.
  • Biological: Pathogens such as cryptosporidium, giardia & other cysts and spores.
  • Chemicals: toxic chemicals, detergents, pesticides and other harmful industrial and agricultural wastes.
  • Dissolved Solids: heavy metals such as aluminum, asbestos, copper, lead, mercury and others.
These bottles are amazing. I never knew it was this easy to make a small difference. The filtering bottle is great because when I'm out, or at school, I do NOT trust the water from the drinking fountains. My baby sister and brother love the smaller bottle, it has a cute whale in the ocean with a frog on it and it has an umbrella, how cute! The bottles have a clean sleek look, the rim doesn't look rusty like other bottles I've seen. They also come with a strap to put on your shoulders, or simply wrap around your hand; and a handy little Carabineer Clip. Thanks to EcoUsable for the opportunity to review their great products. I've very content with these bottles and their amazing quality.

Review - Hartz Dog Treats

I'm very grateful for all the great dog deals lately. They allow my current ongoing stockpile for dogs to grow. After seeing that Hartz had dog treats, I was interested in reviewing. I contacted Hartz for a review, and thanks to Chenier, I was sent Hartz Crunch N' Clean Dog Biscuits.

Crunch N' Clean Dog Biscuits in Savory Flavors is a new addition to their Crunch N' Clean line of dog biscuits. The three flavors included in the new Savory Flavors are Braised Beef, Rotisserie Chicken, and Smokehouse Bacon. Hartz Crunch 'n Clean Biscuits are the only dog biscuits with Dentashield proven to reduce tartar formation. How great is that? A yummy treat for your dog that is great for them.

On their website, Hartz states, "...In fact, just 2 yummy Crunch 'n Clean biscuits twice a day won’t just make his tail wag faster, they’ll fight tartar before it’s a problem".
When i received the treats, i couldn't tell which was which but my dog loved them. I love the fact that they are very thick. I put a couple in his kong toy, a dog toy in which they have to work to get their treats. It keeps them occupied. The pieces were big, but fit in his toy very well. My two smaller dogs (both less than 10lb.) had a hard time even getting the treat into their little mouths. The box says its for all size dogs, but was a no go with my little ones. Overall, I'm happy that these treats will help prevent tartar and freshens his breath. Thanks again to Hartz for the opportunity to review. :)

Review - CSN Stores

You might remember my teaser over a month ago about a future CSN Store review. I was contacted by CSN Stores to do a review about 2 months ago. I only recently decided to accept their generous offer because traffic to my site was much more stable. I won't lie, i also saw a array of other blogs i visit reviewing some of the wonderful items they have available. More on CSN stores in a bit.

I really wanted some outdoor solar lighting, as ours were completely ruined not too long ago as a result of some odd weather here in L.A. We recently moved into a wonderful new house almost 1 year ago, but have yet to do something for the dogs in the backyard. So, instead of the solar lights, I decided to browse one of CSN's Pet Stores for an alternative. I found a great bed for my dog. As you can see from the picture below, it took him a bit to get accustomed to it, but he has been sleeping on it every night now. His favorite nap place next to the pool has been replaced.

The pet bed we got him was the Coolaroo Dog Bed. It was very easy to assemble, just a couple crews to tighten. The mesh fabric is great, on hot days, it allows the dogs to stay cool. The frame seems very sturdy. The bed is meant for dogs 70-100 pounds, but my baby is only about 50 - 60 pounds at most. I got a larger one so he can have the freedom to stretch. It is also very versatile, use it in- or outdoors. Cleaning it is a breeze, you just hose it down. I love the low-maintenance of it. It also comes with a 5-year fabric warranty against UV degradation. How great is that?

CSN has 200+ stores that sell everything from luggage, to solar outdoor lighting, to pet beds. You can literally spend hours searching and finding new things to fall in love with. CSN also has stores for a particular category, some for example are briefcases and even espresso machines. With options like that, you know you can find just about anything via CSN. The shipping time was amazingly fast, but that might be because my item was shipped from Oxnard, CA which is about 10-15min. away. I got and email one day, and the next it was already here. Overall, I'm very impressed with the great (and speedy) service that CSN has shown me. Their array of items they have available in their hundreds of store is very impressive. I am truly thankful for the opportunity I was given to review one of their items. Thanks again, to CSN and Alexandra :)

[Closed] GIVEAWAY - Overall Beauty Mineral Make-Up

Mineral make-up is a thing of the future.. well, present! After seeing OverallBeauty's Mineral eyeshadows reviewed on a blog I had to contact them. Thanks to Kim, owner of OverallBeauty, I received a total of 5 Mineral Eyeshadows to review. I received 4 of my choice; China Doll, Smoky Joe, Mist & Memory and Metal Rose. Also, to my surprise, i was sent Cinder. Kim was great, when I explained to her that I had never used any type of Mineral make-up before, she quickly sent me some tips that were very helpful.

I received all 5 mineral eyeshadows in great sealed condition, along with 2 make up brushes. Along with the brushes and eyeshadows i got a super cute hand-made makeup bag from LittleWorm. What a great addition, its small things like this that give customers a good impression of the company :) In addition to her line of Mineral makeup, Kim offers skin care, nail polish, haircare and even mineral makeup tips.

I love the fact that they were in their own containers instead of little baggies like I've seen before. All of the colors had a beautiful sparkle but the Metal Rose was just gorgeous! It is a dark colored eyeshadow with a rose colored sparkle. It goes very well with my style. The China Doll (pictured 1st above) is great for highlighting and I used it alongside the Metal Rose on my little outing the other day and got some great comments! It was the first time I'd ever worn mineral eyeshadow. The China Doll is great by itself or with some dark eyeliner as well :)

I've always been used to applying eyeshadow with my finger, but have seen a big difference by using brushes. I was also used to pressed eyeshadows but i love the more natural look that mineral eyeshadows give. Overall, I love OverallBeauty's Mineral Eyeshadows. I love the colors i received and working with Kim was great! Thanks to Kim has graciously offered (1) of my lucky readers the chance to win the following:
