Coffee can be a college student's best friend.
Brugo Mug was kind enough to provide me with one of their great mugs, in sea glass, for review. I'm sure everyone, not just students, have the annoyance of their coffee turning cold and bitter before they can finish it. What a hassle it is to drive and get scalded by your coffee while trying to blow on it so it can reach the perfect temperature to sip.
Brugo has a double-wall insulated mug with a patented temperature control chamber that has a 3-position drink mode selector [Lock, Sip, Tip & Cool]. You simply position the selector on Tip & Cool, then tip your mug to fill the reservation chamber to bring your coffee to the perfect temperature zone, slip back to Sip and enjoy your coffee. The double-wall insulation allows you to hold the mug and not burn yourself. When you're not drinking out of it, simply putting the selector on Lock will keep it from spilling.
On average, a regular coffee runs me about $2.10 at Starbucks. I don't just get one in the morning, i tend to also get one during the afternoon because half of it went to waste; it got cold and bitter. My tiny coffee addiction runs me a good $10.50 a week. Not nearly as bad as some of my friends, but I'm frugal! I don't like wasting money when I don't have too. Throwing money down the drain just doesn't appeal to me.
Recently, i bought a bag of Dunkin' Donuts Coffee (12oz.) in Original Blend for $5. We have a drip coffee maker that i use to make coffee. For a little over a week, I have only been making coffee once a day in the morning before I head out to my classes. Now all I have to do is fill my Brugo mug. Since it doesn't chill my coffee and make it bitter, thanks to their innovative mug, my coffee stays in the PTZ. This allows me to save that money that I would've wasted by buying another cup of coffee at Starbucks.
In essence, I'm saving a lot of money since i don't have to buy that second cup of coffee from now on. By not buying the unnecessary second cup of coffee, I'm saving myself a little over
$500 a year. Making it myself in the morning is not really much of a hassle so I'm enjoying those extra dollars in my pocket. Aside from the cost, it is very stylish. All my friends were asking me where I had got it, of course, I let them know :)
Thanks to Brugo mug for the opportunity to review and enjoy their great product.
