Petcakes are Deliciously Cute! These fun plushies are made and manufactured by Well Made Toy Manufacturing Company. They are super-adorable plush pets placed in a cupcake wrapper. Each pet has a frosting cap, some with sprinkles, a cherry and/or blueberries, and are tucked into their own cupcake wrapper.
I had the opportunity to review these. When I received them, these adorable PetCakes looked like regular cupcake plushies until you pop them out and find a sweet surprise inside! Each just as cute as the last. I got (1) of each of their 1st series, which are puppies. Each also has a cute little story, from their website:
These plushies are very well made, Twinkle Sprinkles withstood play time with my Siberian Husky. It was rather cute how he only would play with Twinkle Sprinkles. My baby sister is now the proud owner of CoCo-Coconut, the adorable white poodle which she calls a princess dog. As soon as i opened the box, their sheer cuteness made me smile. I think these would make a really great anytime-type gift for ANY age. I do have to admit, i have a favorite. Randy Candy, the mutt, sleeps beside me in his cupcake wrapper.
PetCakes will release Forest Animals, their 2nd series of plushies, in 2011. You can buy these cuties at ToysRUs.com (not in stores) starting 10/20. Visit and read about their story on the website. The new Foret Animal PetCakes are Bamboo Berry, Honey Cakes, Nutty Nicky and Roco Coco. I can't wait until these are available to buy at stores, I will be buying Bamboo Berry and Roco Coco! :)
