Review - Costume Supercenter

How early do you prepare for Halloween? I know people who are prepared as early as the day after Halloween (for the next year). How? Well, stores usually clearance Halloween stuff soon after the holiday and being the frugal person I am, I bought my little sister a Halloween costume that was on clearance for $5.99 (originally $24.99). I thought it was a good savings. Also, no harm in being prepared, but to my surprise, she is much taller and a short 8 months later she doesn't fit in it at all.

Thankfully there are online websites where you can buy costumes at great reasonable prices all year round. We actually reviewed the Pixie Plum Costume last year and loved it! This year we got the opportunity to review another costume from their great online store.  My sister finally left her "princess and pirates" phase and chose something a little different, the Girls Misfit Punk Costume.She thought it was so cool, we were all surprised she didn't go for the typical Disney Princess costumes.

Both of us are happy with her choice. The Girl's Misfit Punk Costume includes a dress, leggings, pair of cuffs and headband with faux hair in bright red and purple. The quality of the costume is quite good, the only con is the headpiece. Apparently, the lock of bright red hair wasn't fastened onto the headpiece well, but we fixed it without a problem. I love that this costume comes with the headband, dress and cuffs as accessories, as she is really taking a liking to adding things to her wardrobe, its quite adorable! She can't wait to see how I will do her make-up this year. She was so happy with her make-up last year that she didn't want to wash it off. I'm already have great ideas, I'm sure she'll love it!
