Online Shopping & Saving Money With Bing Rewards

Thank you to BING for sponsoring my writing today. To learn more about BING Shopping Rewards, click here. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.
I just recently got an email from Ebay telling me I had been shopping with them for 7 years. Apparently I was shopping online since I was 15 years old. I never kept track of the time so this came as a shock to me. Seven years is a long time but online shopping has been around a lot longer than I've been shopping online. I can safely say that it has changed a TON over my past 7 years of experience. There are now sites that give you cash back when you buy online, points you can redeem for gift card when you buy online, online coupons and discounts and so much more. It is all very convenient to use and helps you save money in all different kinds of ways.

I was happy to find out about the Bing Rewards Preview Program. I'm sure you've all heard of Bing.com, the search engine, but apparently they have a new Rewards Program to help you earn credits to use towards gift cards, merchandise and even donate. Unlike other rewards programs that let you earn credits to use towards things like gift cards, Bing Rewards does not require you to buy a product for you to earn credits. Bing Rewards is quite great, to earn credits all you have to do is search for products via Bing (and explore other features of the website). Your credits then add up and you get to redeem them.

When I heard about the Bing Rewards Preview Program from CleverGirls I headed right on to http://www.bing.com/rewards to sign up and register. New members get 250 credits upon registration. The process is quite easy, I enter what I'm looking for on Bing and get random offers to earn x amount of credits when you click on them (on the right hand side of the search page). Also, you earn 1 credit per 5 Bing searches (daily, until June 4th). The service is quite easy to use but in my opinion still lacks ways to earn credits. The Bing Rewards Preview Program is just that, a preview program, so hopefully they will take my suggestion and come out with more if the program decides to come back permanently.

I love shopping, I just don't enjoy having to go to 5 different stores just to compare prices or get good deals. Thankfully the majority of stores offer online shopping that makes it convenient for everyone who is short on free time to shop. Loading up my computer (or even phone) and using a combination of services like ebates and online coupons for the best savings is no hassle. No more having to wake up early weekend mornings to go shipping. The internet and online shopping is something that was much needed and will only improve with time.
