Thanks to Jessica, and Sakar International whom licenses Dora products, we were sent the Dora The Explorer Digital Talking Camera. The package comes with the camera, software cd, usb connection and a manual. The camera requires 2 AAA batteries and is rather simple to use. It is also very well built, made of plastic has a camera and mode button, usb connection, small LCD screen and the view hole. It also works as a webcam on Macintosh and Windows. This camera is designed to work well even after those unintended falls.
My sister went picture crazy as soon as she received it. The camera's mode button is easily accessible to her and unfortunately she ended up deleting them all. It also took a couple tries for her to take pictures correctly, as it is a talking camera and it takes a picture after you hear Dora talk. This ended up being a bit frustrating because she had to hold the camera still until Dora finished her phrase or else the pictures would be blurry. That is not a good thing for very active 4 year olds. She did get the hang of it after about a dozen pictures. To the left you'll see what she calls her photography masterpiece. She apparently loves my desktop background for Windows 7.
