My Nutrisystem Weekly Weigh-In (Week #4) + Video

My first month on Nutrisystem is over. Time has flown by as if it were being chased. Four weeks down and although the changes haven't been dramatic (on the outside) they have been mentally. I mentioned before that I cut out soda (both diet, non-diet) and that has made me feel fantastic. As a result I no longer get headaches (who knew I got them from the soda), my face is clearing up a lot more and I generally feel better. As for physical changes, my pants are a bit loose, other than that, nothing that I've noticed. Before I started Nutrisystem I did not exercise at all, now that I get in at least 30min (I prefer getting in about an hour daily) I have more energy. I love working out to the point where I'm so tired that miraculously I get a "second boost" and spend another 10-20min. exercising. At this point I wish I had a regular bike so I could go bike for a while around my neighborhood. Hopefully I'll be able to save up some money for that later on.

I'm doing much better with flexing my meals, this is where once in a while you substitute your Nutrisystem meal for something else. I keep in mind the nutritional facts of the meals I regularly eat and try to match that with my flex meal. As for a whole month now gone, I definitely have my favorite foods; Chili w/ Beans, Chicken Tenders with Wild Rice, Steak & Cheese Melt, Chicken Fajita Melt, White Chocolate Chunk Cookie, Ice Cream Sandwich and Veggie Roasted Pizza. So delicious!

You guys can look forward to a video blog every month while I'm on Nutrisystem, This month I wanted to do a quick review of the Nutrisystem App available for Apple and Android devices. I LOVE it. Instead of having to lug around the meal planner, I have that and then some on my phone via the Nutrisystem App. It calculates the calories I've had daily and is a HUGE help. Such a great convenience it is, and FREE.
Unfortunately this weeks weight-loss was not much, but I blame it on the not-so-friendly monthly visitor. I felt bloated for the majority of the week and I'm sure I have tons of water weight that my body is retaining from this menstrual cycle. I can't wait to keep pushing myself and lose more weight. I have now made a personal goal to lose a minimum of 10lbs. a month over the next 3 months I have left. :) I'm exited that I have rightfully earned my 1st Nutribear last week!
