Review - Frito-Lay Snacks

Frito-Lay is one of the top potato chip brands in the world, and its for good reason. I recently joined to become a Frito-Lay Fan :) I love Frito-Lay snack chips, Fritos and the original Lays are my favorite of the bunch. I can remember back in Elementary and Middle school raising my hand to provide the chips for our class parties and I would always take Lays. We had class parties in High School too, we took them a step forward and had potluck parties, but Lays and Doritos Cool Ranch were always the chosen snack.

Frito-Lay sent me some interesting facts about their chips:
Frito-Lay starts with fresh, farm-grown ingredients, making many of our chips with just three simple ingredients: potatoes or corn, all-natural oils and salt
We were the first major food company to remove partially hydrogenated oils from our cooking oil way back in 2003. That means our chips have 0 grams trans fat because we use all-natural oils such as corn oil and sunflower oil.
Many varieties of our chips provide whole grains like Tostitos® snacks, which contain 8 grams of whole grain corn per serving, and SunChips®, which brings 18 grams of whole grain per serving to your diet! SunChips® are also a good source of fiber.
Frito-Lay supports American farmers and buys the potatoes used to make our potato chips from 80+ farms across 27 states.
With ingredients as simple as potatoes, corn, all-natural oils and salt, its amazing how addicting and great these snacks are! As part of becoming a Frito-Lay Fan, I was sent some products to review; (1) Lays (Lightly Salted), (1) Tostitos and (1) SunChips along with a Frito-Lay reusable tote, chip clip and aluminum bottle. I am not ashamed to say that I, alone, ate the whole Lays Lightly Salted bag, lol.

The Classic Lays have always been my favorite brand of chips, but I always found them too salty so when I found out there was a lightly salted version, I was exited. The SunChips comes in a 100% compostable bag. Its a shame that Frito-Lay is pulling the compostable bag in the U.S. though. Hope they change their minds or bring it back in the future. Thanks Frito-Lay for providing me with these samples! I've been a Fan for years!
