Review - Alizé Halloween-Inspired Recipes

Going trick or treating? Not many people 18+ do, but we do tend to enjoy a good costume party or get-together at home. I received a sample of Alizé liqueur to help inspire my little costume party get together this Halloween. With drink recipes named Devil's Punch, Mad Scientist Sangria and Vampire Kiss Martini, who could resist?

I was contacted to review and received a bottle of Alizé Liqueur's Gold Passion (L'Original Exotic Passion Fruit delicately blended with premium French Vodka). It contains 16% alcohol by volume and has a fun golden color that goes well with its name. I received a couple of Halloween-inspired recipes, but only 2 included Alizé's Gold Passion.

Vampire Kiss Martini:

1 ½ ounce Alizé Red Passion

1 ounce Alizé Gold Passion

1 ounce premium vodka

Top with lemonade, serve in martini glass

Devil's Punch:

2 ounces Alizé Gold Passion

2 ounces Bacardi Limon

Splash of Canton Ginger Liqueur

Splash of Cranberry juice

Splash of Lime juice

Splash of Ginger ale

Since I only received the Gold Passion, and like the taste of it alone, I decided to buy Alizé Red Passion for the drink recipes. I tried the Vampire Kiss Martini and absolutely loved the flavor. It was great, not one thing overpowered the other and mixed well. The Devil's Punch was a favorite of a couple friend of mine, but not mine. I'm not sure if it was the Canton (which my friends had handy) but this recipe just didn't appeal to me. I'm glad they came over and helped, as we will be buying more for our Halloween party and are positive they will be a hit!
