Another shopping trip that I left not just for my younger sister, but my parents as well because I knew I wouldn't be able to go. So, as usual, i gathered up coupons, paper clipped them according to different transactions and told them to use what they found. Unfortunately, they had problems at the cash register but called a manager over who explained to the cashier the proper coupon procedures :). However, even with both of them there, they still managed to miss a $4/1 coupon, what a shame. Total would've been much lower. Here goes the trip:
Bought (7) Clean & Clear Morning Burst Travel Size - $.97 each
-Used (7) $1/1 Manufacturer Qs from 8/1 SS
Bought (2) Air Wick Freshmatic I-motion Compacts - $4.49 each
-Used (1) $4/1 Manufacturer Qs*
Bought (3) Hunts Snack Packs $.95 each
-Used (1) $.30/1 Manufacturer Q + $1/3 Target Q
Bought (8) Herbal Essences Shampoos & Conditioners $2.50 each
-Used (4) BOGO Manufacturer Qs from 8/1 P&G
Bought (2) Bagel Bites $2.54
-Used (2) $1/1 Manufacturer Q & (2) $1/1 Target Q
Bought (1) Juicy Juice 8pk. - $3.19
Used (1) $1/1 Target Q
Bought (1) Chef Boyardee Ravioli Can $.99
-Used (1) $1/1 Target Q
Total: $17.30 after tax and coupons
Saved: $44.93 - or - 72%

I woulda had to have gone back in there and let them know... 4.00 is a lot!
How does Target's coupon policy work? My target wouldn't let me use the coupon for the clean and clear coupon since it's worth more than what the item itself. Thanks!
Target Coupon policy states that if a coupon is more than the item itself, it should re-adjust it to go through. The coupon Policy is available to print on target.com
lazyin29, I would've as well, but unfortunately I wasn't there.
