My Black Friday Experience, was not much. I was going back and fourth whether or not I wanted to go. I am no stranger to Black Friday, I have been doing it since I was 15, way before it became this mainstream thing. The longest we've "camped out" (we really didn't have a tent lol) was a little over 3 days and we were 2nd in line. This year I was freezing, I figured I'd just go to Target (that opened at 4am) around 5-6am to avoid the crazy crowd and see what clothes I could find. I really wanted the XBOX 360 deal there. The XBOX 360 was $199.99 with a $50 Target Gift Card, which was the best deal IMO this Black Friday for it. I had no hope of finding it when I went to Target around 7am.
So, I got there and I decided to ask, for the hell of it. They had 4 XBOX 360 systems left WITH a $50 Gift Card AND I got the $10 Gift Card they were offering to the first few customers on Friday only. What a surprise! I already have an XBOX 360 but this one I got was to send to my brother in Nicaragua, and he just got it this weekend :) So we head out of there into Walmart (which I'm not too fond of), they had some great TV deals and there was a 42" LCD HDTV for $398. I knew this wouldn't still be there and I noticed a palate with only 2 of them left. This was at around 8am, long after they opened. I grabbed one and went about my trip. I can't believe I managed to find TWO of these Doorbusters about 3-4 hours after they opened their doors. This would've never happened back where I used to live, hence me "camping out" for 3 days during Black Friday over there.
So amazed! Did you guys have any good experiences? Ever since it became more mainstream, there are always negative comments floating around, but it use to be a lot of fun! :)
