I have not had a Target Shopping Round-Up trip in about a month. With the whole tooth pain, Dentist trip, College and midterms under my belt, I had very little time. I made it out to Target for the Buy 2 Video Games, Get (1) FREE Promotion @ Target. It looked like ALL the games on the sales floor were eligible. This is not my best shopping trip, but its something, especially since its not easy to save on electronics/video games as it is on groceries. :) Found the FREE Dr. Pepper Qs in my bag before checkout, so I grabbed them. They are delicious! Only 10 calories too! I also used a $10 Target Gift Card I received from my ShopKick app. If you have an iPhone or Android phone, I highly suggest getting it, its free

Don't You Wish Your Grandpa Was Hot Like Me? Big Lots Finds!

I fund some great little finds at Big Lots. My favorite were these HUGE 4ft. sock monkeys named MAXX. They are priced at $25 and let my parents know I WANT HIM for Christmas. Since we are better off than we were last year, I might get a present for Christmas this year. Last year, I didn't get anything, unfortunately. I love monkeys, real, stuffed and toy. I would even be nice enough to let him sleep on my comfy queen-size bed, lol. 

While shopping yesterday I ended up at Big Lots. I love this store, always have, but found something a bit weird this time around. In the Christmas section I came across a "grandpa doll" that sang when you pressed his hand. I thought it would be a cute gift for my grandfather, which is currently stuck in an out-patient convalescent home after his surgery. I was actually quite grossed out at the lyrics of his song, but couldn't help to laugh. "Don't you wish your grandpa was hot like me? Don't you wish your grandpa was a freak like me? Well, don't cha". Would you buy this for your grandpa? Would he like it? lol. You can see the video above that I took (turn up your volume!).

I love Stater Bros. Never have I had a problem using coupons there :) As i mentioned earlier, Stater Bros. is having some great deals this week! I was one of the unfortunate people to NOT have the $5 GC wyb (7) frozen food items this week BUT was O.K. with it. Well, not really, especially after seeing such great shops over at Kerry's HUGE trip, Mama Report, Stevie's Saving, Saving Savvy Sarah, Frugality is Free, Pennies to Pasta, Tallymomma and By The Seat Of My Pants. Great savings and thats how you take advantage of a great deal! :) 

While at Target they had advertised that you can get a Free Reusable Freezer Bag wyb a variety of different brands of frozen foods (including all the one listed on the ad) Weight Watchers was one of the inclusions and after a big mishap (fault of what seams like inexperienced Target cashiers AND managers) I guess they held a ridiculous grudge and denied us our free bag. We even took the tag off the freezer area and gave it to them as they cried, "we can only go by the ad, its not letting us give it to you". Ridiculous. Target, I love you but TAKE NOTE: don't advertise something and NOT follow through. So we had (3) transaction:

My 1/10 Target Shopping Round-Up (Saved 74%)

This has got to be the saddest trip made to Target! I wasn't there but sent my younger sister. She had a horrible experience with the cashier. I was on the phone with my sister so I heard all this mumbo jumbo crap the cashier had coming out of her mouth. I haven't had problems using the $2/1 Olay on the single Olay bar that costs $0.97 and there are no beeps when it scans. This woman apparently thinks that the coupon giving me overage is literally taking money out of HER pocket. My sister let me know she was rude, glared at her and was just a horrible experience. After about 10-15min of the cashier arguing that she will not use the Olay coupons I told my sister to cancel the second transaction and take the Olay bars and coupons off the first so she took it upon herself to scan the whole thing for about the 10th time it felt like. After all that nonsense she DROPPED a damn coupon on the floor and I could tell by the total it was off so my sister went to customer care and she insisted that she was only given 6 coupons, but I KNOW I gave her 7 and she went back and saw it on the floor and no apology was given, go figure. Now with the receipt at home I find one Lysol was charged at $3.39 and the other at $4.99. It was the SAME Lysol bottle. I called her manager and let her know how rude this person was. I WILL be calling corporate tomorrow as well. That cashier needs to be re-trained or put in the back stocking crap.

Finally was able to make a good big-ish trip to Target. Seems like the problems with coupons truly are gone. I got overage for the coupons valued more than the item (Beneful and Olay). This overage was great, as it practically paid for the rest of my trip. I saved a over $94 and only paid $3 before taxes. Great trip! Here it is:

I am loving these Beneful coupons. I was able to finally get some chocolate too, I've been craving some for a while :) Didn't have time to check for much clearance as I was in a hurry.
