My Nutrisystem Weekly Weigh-In

This is my first weigh-in and I'm not worried one bit! I am actually exited to tell you guys how much I lost. I mentioned before that there is NO WAY I will have a bad weigh-in (crossing my fingers, lol). I am very confident that I will lose a good amount of weight in the next 3 months. I started Nutrisystem last Monday not knowing what to expect, taste-wise While I haven't quite tasted my whole months worth of food but already have some I know I will get for my next months shipment.

Like: Chilli w/ Beans (top favorite), Vegetable Medley Pizza, Banana Nut Muffin, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, Blueberry Muffin, Penne Pasta and Chicken in Alfredo Sauce. Dislike: Margheria Pizza, Stawberry Shorcake Bar. I also tried the Flame-Broiled Beef Patty, Maple Sausage Patty, Thick Crust Pizza, Homestlye Pancakes that were just O.K. in my book. I can't get over having to rehydrate the beef patty, I add a bit of Worcestershire sauce and seasonings and grill it but is just tasteless to me. All the veggie add-ins are hard for me to fit in. I can eat them mixed with rice but I'm not allowed any carbs add-ins on the program unless I have more than 100lbs. to lose. This has made all my protein add-ins hard too, I'm used to eating rice with my chicken, pork, meat and beans.

I understand this Nutrisystem IS a lifestyle change and my lifestyle is hectic and being stuck eating in a certain way is hard to break but NOT impossible to transition off or change. On three occasions I did add 1/4 brown rice with my protein and a slice of whole-wheat bread for breakfast, its helped me stay full throughout the day. Over time I would LOVE to lose somewhere near 80lbs. so I don't see much of a problem with that. My 1st day on the program was a change, portion sizes are minimal considering what my old habits were. The 1/4 cup of rice is nothing compared to the mountains I previously consumed, but I'm finding its enough, especially having to eat everything else on the Nutrisystem program. I actually savor each and everything I eat now.

My free time is very limited considering I have to attend classes, work and other things. I will be reviewing EA Sports Active 2 game for the XBOX 360 Kinect soon, its what I've been using to get my exercise in and its been wonderful. I got the game on Thursday the 28th and have burned over 1,100 calories already. I really push myself for EACH work out and it has been showing on the scale. Thanks to the people over at EatSmart, I now have the EatSmart Precision Premium Digital Bathroom Scale, now i get a precise amount of what I've lost. I will also be reviewing this great scale soon! :) Don't forget to Check out my entire Nutrisystem Journey and photos on Flickr! Now its time, my weight loss for my 1st week on NutriSystem:

Weight Loss:

HuluPlus FREE 1-Week Trial For XBOX Users

HuluPlus and XBOX have a great promotion going on right now. ALL XBOX Users will have access to sign up for a FREE 1-Week trial of HuluPlus. You can go here to see more details on how to sign up. Just sign in to you XBOX Live account and look under "Spotlight", click on the HuluPlus promotion and it will promt a download and they will give you a special access code to enter over at http://www.hulu.com/plus/unlock where you will enter your email to sign up (be sure you enter the access code they give you)

If you don't know what HuluPlus is, just think of it as a major upgrade of YouTube with premium access to shows on T.V., as well as movies and others. You can also cut your expensive ass cable bill (Time Warner on my part) and pay only $7.99 a month for HuluPlus. The downside is you'd only be able to stream it through you XBOX console or computer (but you can easily stream it to your T.V. from your comp. via an HDMI or old school VGA cable) Also note, for this promotion you DO NOT NEED TO HAVE AN XBOX LIVE GOLD MEMBERSHIP, which I don't anymore, so its great :) I just got the email about this promotion in my inbox and signed up, so I'm off to watch House and The Biggest Loser (love these shows) and some other goodies :)

Oh, forgot to mention, after your 1-week trial is over, they are also offering a 1-month free trial. Unfortunately, for the additional 1-month trial you WILL need an XBOX Gold membership... not something I want to shell out money for right now so I'll pass. :)

By getting the trial you can also enter the XBOX / Hulu Contest with a bunch of great prizes!

Rachael Ray's Nutrish Just 6 Dog Food - FREE SAMPLES

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Nutrish for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Nutrish Student Saving Bucks
I have 3 dogs, so feeding them all is no easy task. I was sent a sample of Rachael Ray's Nutrish Just 6 Dog Food with an adorable little dog bowl (which now belongs to my youngest fur baby, see him above?) Unfortunately, since he is only 3 1/2 months old, he can't have any, its the Lamb Meal & Brown Rice recipe for adult dogs. Now, I personally couldn't taste test this, but my 3 y/o Siberian Husky / German Shepherd did.

My big boy is a picky eater, as is the second oldest, the baby, not so much. As soon as the food hit the floor he practically inhaled it. He looks really funny in the first picture below because just a millisecond after, he dove right in. Rachel Ray's Just 6 Dog Food contains no corn, wheat or soy, which the majority of big brand-name foods do. The number one ingredient is Lamb Meal and it also contains added vitamins to keep him healthy.
